Early in the movie, small "buzz" drones land on Obi Won Kenobi's
spaceship and start wrecking it. Why didn't Darth Vader use such drones
against the Rebel Alliance in Episodes 4 through 6? After all, Anakin
was right next to Obi's ship at the time!
Anakin gets a vision of his wife Padme dying in childbirth, and tells
her about it. Why don't either Anakin or Padme suggest having Padme's
most trusted aides and allies (such as Jar Jar Binks!) recruit a
crack team of doctors and medical drones to assist in the birth?
Why don't either of them suggest removing the fetus and putting
it in an artificial womb (similar to the wombs used to grow
clones to term) to remove the risk of Padme dying during labor?
Anakin tells Yoda about having a vision of someone he cares about dying
(but doesn't say who or how, since Anakin is keeping his marriage to
Padme a secret to avoid being excommunicated from the Jedi ranks. Those
loony Jedi don't approve of Jedi getting married!). Why doesn't Yoda
ask "Who is dying in your vision, and from what ailment or injury?"?
After Anakin turns to the Dark Side and slaughters everyone at the Jedi
Temple, including the children, Obi learns of his involvement by looking
at security holograms, and tells Padme about his deed. Padme can't
believe that Anakin would slaughter children! Since Anakin told her
that he had slaughtered an entire sand people tribe (including the
children) after they killed his mother, why would Padme find it
difficult to believe that he would kill Jedi children?
Obi Won Kenobi goes after Anakin/Darth Vader, and Yoda goes after
Emperor Palpatine. Why don't Obi and Yoda strap bombs to their bodies
so that they can blow up Darth or Palpatine if it appears that Darth or
Palpatine are about to win? After all, Obi and Yoda believe that Darth
and Palpatine are extremely dangerous and MUST be defeated at all costs.
Why didn't Yoda and Obi both take on Palpatine to improve the odds
of defeating him?
After a long battle, Obi cuts off Darth Vader's legs on the bank of a
lava lake, then some lava touches Vader and sets him on fire. Why
doesn't Obi cut off Vader's head to make certain that he dies and to
end his agony? After all, Obi considers Vader to be extremely
dangerous!
Meanwhile, Anakin/Vader's wife Padme gives birth to Luke And Leia
Skywalker, then dies. Yoda and Obi, saying that the kids must be hidden
where they can't be found via the Force, decide to give Luke to his
uncle and aunt on Tatooine, and give Leia to Senator Organia on
Alderaan: Why would they believe that Luke and Leia would be invisible
to Darth Vader's Force senses on Tatooine and Alderaan? Also, if Vader
did learn that his wife had given birth (in spite of Padme's body having
been mocked up to still look pregnant), wouldn't he go first to
Tatooine just in case Padme's child had been placed with Anakin's
half-brother (whom Anakin visited during "Attack of the Clones").
I suggest that Darth Vader ask Emperor Palpatine to have his agents
steal Padme's body so that he and Palpy can attempt to bring her back
to life using the Dark Side and the best medical technology at the
Empire's disposal, then turn her to the Dark Side. I also suggest
that a new body be cloned for Darth Vader and his mind transferred
to that body via the Dark Side.
