You can't say that he rewrote reality there. Number one: Star
Wars never definitively said that Luke and Leia were *not*
brother and sister.
Actually, it did -- originally, Luke was 20 and Leia was 18.
Okay, I'm curious: how and why did their exact ages even get
mentioned in whatever early draft you're talking about? Or was this
a meta thing, where ages were given in the casting requirements or
character summaries or something but not in the story itself?
If I recall correctly, it was in their character descriptions in the
first scenes they appear in, from an early draft of A New Hope (before it
was even called that).
Even if Luke is 20 and Leia 18, they could still be brother and sister.
Maybe they could, but in that case what happened to Padme Amydala's other
kid?
She had 3 kids?

Naw. They should adapt "Splinter of the Mind's Eye" and the Han Solo
Incestuous overtones and all?
Leia wasn't his sister then.
Was there another accident with a contraceptive and a time machine?
This was before Lucas rewrote reality for the first time. Remember,
"Splinter" came even before he decided "I Am Your Father".
You can't say that he rewrote reality there. Number one: Star Wars

It's obvious from the first two films, and Gary Kurtz has confirmed that
they weren't originally siblings anyway.
In Episodes 4 and 5, Luke didn't KNOW that Leia was his sister, so he would
have no reason not to fall in love with her!
